Bharvi’s career has focussed on conducting and supporting health research, especially in the biobanking field. She was awarded Masters of Science in Medicine and Master in Philosophy in 2011. Bharvi then joined the liver transplant team at Centenary Institute from 2011-2015 and managed the day to day biobank operations. During these 5 years she gained significant experience on many aspects of biobanking such as obtaining consent, sample processing, quality assurance and database management. In 2016, she joined Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Research Officer where she worked on a variety of studies focusing on measuring and improving cancer care coordination in NSW. In 2017, she joined Prof Jennifer Byrne’s team in Childrens Cancer Research Unit as a senior research officer to work on a number of statewide research projects in cancer biobanking.
