Maryam Hor is a Research Projects Officer at the CSIRO Health and Biosecurity Program. She plays a key role in the Australian Health Biobank, overseeing participant consent and sample management, developing participant communications, and supporting quality and ethical standards. Maryam also contributes to chronic disease prevention initiatives and is involved in organoid-based research, developing lab-grown tissue models to better understand human health and disease.
Her work combines laboratory expertise with leadership and collaboration, ensuring research that is rigorous, high-quality, and meaningful.
